Our client has recently opened a stunning resort in Vietnam, slated to be one of the best in Asia.
The property is very large with 500+ suites and villas, 12+ Restaurants and Bars, large convention and event capacity together with very extensive leisure facilities including multiple pools, waterpark, spa, sports facilities, cinema and much more… All this set on 30 hectares of tropical landscaped grounds, alongside one of the best beaches in Vietnam. Although large, the resort has an intimate feel and can cater to various markets and segments, from families to convention delegates to high-end couples and so on.
Although only in the pre-opening stages, initial feedback has been excellent, with guests declaring the resort ‘perfect’, ‘luxurious’ and ‘beautiful’ with ‘great service’ delivered by ‘enthusiastic and engaging’ staff.
We now seek a skilled Sales and Marketing Director to maximise and fully develop the potential of this stunning property.
Reporting directly to the Complex General Manager, the Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for all aspects of the Sales, Marketing and Revenue generating functions.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the 5 star/luxury hotel/resort market, ideally with a strong understanding and focus on high volume large leisure resorts.
In addition to the traditional strengths of sales and marketing leaders that you should possess, you will also need to be analytical and strategic to drive the resort direction and maximise all potential revenue opportunities.
This role is not for the cookie-cutter DOSM, but for a creative and dynamic leader, full of ideas and a clear understanding of how to meet both service and business objectives. Someone well connected, with knowledge of the inbound markets into Vietnam/Asia is assumed.
